Dream It.
Construction is what we grew up around. Often on Sunday afternoons we’d drive from Oakland to new sub-divisions, like Blackhawk, and our parents would take pictures of houses for future inspiration.
It was not uncommon for us to be on construction sites all the time. Growing-up around construction makes for a very different kid. It creates people who see projects go from ideas to completion. People who believe dreams are achievable. People who learn how to take a vision and turn it into reality.
Family.
It was very important to our parents for us to be active. We were involved in school and church activities. Family vacations were centered around snow skiing at Tahoe and water skiing at Clearlake.
We were encouraged to be involved in the arts and sports. Being coordinated, artistic, and having a competitive drive were definitely core values.
In the early 80’s, our dad bought a lot in Oakland on the border of Piedmont and built his 7000 square foot dream home from the ground up.

As our dad grew his relationships with Bay Area designers and architects he acquired many interesting jobs, from full remodels to houses with indoor pools to new build construction,
Now.
After being in the cabinet business for the past 15 years, we are coming alongside our father to take over the business. We are rebranding from Cabinets by Better Design to Monday Morning Cabinet Company.
Each of us siblings bring a fresh approach and variety of additional skills, along with the instilled values of excellence, exceptional quality, and eye for perfection to any job we take on.
